CAVAN GAA SUMMER CAMPS and

SCHOOL OF EXCELLENCE 2001

The recent AIB GAA Summer Camp in Cornafean was a huge success with a total of 162 boys and girls enjoying the opportunity to improve their skills in football, hurling and camogie in Cornafean Park.

This year’s Cavan Summer Camps were by far the most successful ever. Obviously Cavan’s great Championship run, together with the feast of televised football and hurling matches over the whole summer, have generated a huge amount of interest in the national games among the younger generation. Long may it continue!
