Special thanks to Tom McSeain for the use of the golf course for the day; to Art McSeain for hosting the Presentation Dance on the night of the event; to Damien O'Reilly who prepared the food for everyone taking part and to Brian & Geraldine for providing the music for the Dance.

All the proceeds of the event were in aid of the new Sports Hall development at the club's grounds in Cornafean. Work began earlier this year on this facility and already it is obvious that this will be a very impressive structure as well as a tremendous facility for all the people of the area.

Along with state-of-the-art sports hall for the playing of games such as indoor soccer, camogie, badminton and volleyball, it will also be available for use for concerts, etc due to the inclusion of a special mechanically-operated stage of the highest standard. This will be a great feature to young people, for example, learning Irish Dancing, Set Dancing or rehearsing sketches and plays for Scór or other events.

The complex will also include a "Community Room", which will be available to all the local community organisations in the area for meetings, functions, concerts etc. The plans for the facility have been designed to provide a comfortable, well-heated and insulated building which should be a great asset to the people of the locality in the future.
