There was deep sadness in the locality last week on the death of Owen Cullen, Drumkeeran who died on Wednesday February 4th in Lisdarn Unit for the Elderly. Owen was well-known as a very hardworking, industrious and progressive farmer and he will be remembered for his decent, kind, quiet and unassuming nature. He was sadly predeceased by his son Noel over four years ago.
We extend deepest sympathy to his wife Brigid, sons Eamon, Seamus and Martin, grandchildren, daughters in law, nephews nieces and other relatives. There were large attendances at the removal of his remains to Coronea Church on last Thursday evening and at his Funeral Mass on Friday with burial in the adjoining cemetery.
