Cornafean Golf
Course is an 18-hole par-3 course located in the heart of Cornafean. It is owned and
operated by Tom McSeain, and is open for most of the year. Since it was
originally opened in 1993, it has grown greatly in popularity and it is now one of
Cornafean's most popular leisure attractions. For most days of the year, the
course is open on a "pay for play" basis with a round of 18 holes
costing £3 per person.

For many years, a private local history museum full of a miscellany of household items, period clothes and furniture was operated in an old pighouse and barns at Corr House Cornafean. The Museum was established by the late Mrs. Phyllis Faris, who built up a wonderful collection of exhibits over a period of many years. Although most of the exhibits were transferred to Cavan County Museum in Ballyjamesduff during the 1990s, Mrs Faris continued to operate the Museum and welcomed visitors on a regular basis until her death on December 18, 2006, in her 97th year.

Killykeen Forest Park is situated
approx. 5 miles from Cornafean and a similar distance from Cavan town, off the
Cavan-Crossdoney Road.
The Forest Park covers 600 acres of mixed woodland in Killykeen Forest park overlooking Lough Oughter, on the Erne river system and offers the visitor a picturesque landscape of lakes, islands and woodland.
