Pighouse Folk Museum (no longer open)

For many years, a private local history museum full of a miscellany of household items, period clothes and furniture was operated in an old pighouse and barns at Corr House Cornafean. The Museum was established by the late Mrs. Phyllis Faris, who built up a wonderful collection of exhibits over a period of many years.  Although most of the exhibits were transferred to Cavan County Museum in Ballyjamesduff during the 1990s, Mrs Faris continued to operate the Museum and welcomed visitors on a regular basis until her death on December 18, 2006, in her 97th year.
